Event Details

MEALS, FOOD & DRINK – Meals will be available at Century II Convention Center through the Conference, and must be ordered and paid for in full at the time of registration. Tickets for pre-paid meals will be in the registration packet at the beginning of the conference.  Those with meal tickets must eat in the designated area in Expo Hall.

On-site concessions also will be available in Expo Hall during the morning, lunch and dinner.

Those who bring their meals in coolers or ice chests may eat in the designated area outside in Price-Woodard Park or other outside areas, but not in Expo Hall or any other area within Century II. The park borders the river on the west side of the Convention Center.

A number of area restaurants, many within walking distance of Century II, also are available.  A guide to Wichita restaurants will be included in your Welcome Packet.

CONFERENCE CDS AND MP3S – CDs, MP3s and tapes of all of this year’s presentations can be ordered through St. Joseph Communications at their booth in Expo Hall. Delivery requires a minimum of two weeks.

Also on sale at St. Joseph’s booth will be audio- and video-tapes of many of the country’s leading Catholic speakers, such as Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, Dr. Scott Hahn, Michael Barber, Fr. Benedict Groeschel, C. F. R., Stephen Ray, and many more.

HOSPITALITY/INFORMATION – A Hospitality/Information desk, located in the connecting lobby of Century II Convention Center, will be available for general questions regarding the Conference and Wichita, medical services, and services for persons with disabilities.

LIVE CLOSED CIRCUIT – A big-screen television monitor showing a live closed-circuit transmission of all of the activities in Convention Hall will be available in the playroom area to allow parents of children younger than three years of age to view the proceedings while watching their children. This area is located on the second floor of Century II adjacent to the Children’s Program area. Use of this service is intended for parents of young children only.

MEDICAL SERVICES – First aid, assistance for health emergencies, and services for persons with disabilities will be available at the Hospitality/Information Desk in the connecting lobby of Century II Convention Center.

MESSAGE BOARD – A Message Board will be located near the Hospitality/Information Desk. Conference attendees may use the board to communicate.

PAGING SCREENS – Paging Screens, located in Convention Hall, Expo Hall, and the High School Program area in the Exhibition Hall balcony, serve as an important communication tool between the Conference and attendees. Designed primarily to serve the parents of children in the Children’s Program, the Paging Screens also are a useful tool for Conference announcements, such as emergencies and lost and found items.Parents are encouraged to check the Paging Screens often. If your child’s name and wristband identification number appear on the Paging Screen, you must immediately go to the child’s designated room.

PLAYROOM – One playroom/area will be available for children under three years of age if accompanied by a parent. A big-screen television monitor showing a live closed-circuit transmission of all of the activities in Convention Hall will be available in this area to allow parents to view the proceedings while watching their children. The playroom/area will be located on the second floor of Century II adjacent to the Children’s Program area. Cribs are not allowed in the playroom/area. Children three years of age and older are expected to be involved in the Children’s Program.

T-SHIRTS – Conference t-shirts for men, women and youth are available for purchase through the registration process and also will be on sale in the Exhibitors and Vendors area in Expo Hall at the time of the event. There will be a limited number of t-shirts and polo shirts available. Kneeler pads also will be available for purchase at the conference.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS -- Wichita hosts a great number of things to see and do, literally. In the metro area, there are 36 museums, more than 24 attractions, 20 live theatres, 35 art galleries and 32 golf courses. For more information, click here.
