The Diversity Conference aims to promote inclusiveness, acceptance and tolerance and to combat the "-isms" of society through the exploration of our own biases and to carry back the insights gained from the conference into the work done within the early childhood community.
The 14th Annual Diversity Conference takes place at the Barshop Jewish Community Center, 12500 NW Military Hwyl, San Antonio, TX 78231 on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Our Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Lisa Uribe with Women's Global Connection, and District 1 City Councilman Diego Bernal will speak during lunch. We expect 300 participants. The primary audience for the conference includes persons who work with young children and their families in schools, child care centers, community centers, higher education and other related professional settings.
