When & Where
Junior League of Brooklyn and Brooklyn Prom Project
The 2014 Day of Beauty is run by the Junior League of Brooklyn (JLB) in conjunction with the Brooklyn Prom and Scholarship Project.
The JLB created the Belle of the Ball Program in 2009 to help Brooklyn teens in need attend their Prom, graduation and other formal events. The goal of the Program is to promote self confidence and individual beauty and to transform each young woman into a princess on their prom night! We also encourage intelligence through our scholarship program and foster a sense of voluntarism in each of our attendees.
The Brooklyn Prom and Scholarship Project was created in 2010 to help financially challenged teens in Brooklyn, NY attend their high school prom. The Project makes this possible through donations of new and gently used formal occasion attire from various donors wanting to support our cause.
