Sacramento Convention Center Information
The 2014 Summit will be held on the 3rd floor of the Sacramento Convention Center, located at 1400 J Street in downtown Sacramento. The entrance at 14th & J street is the closest entrance into the Summit side of the building. You can look for room 306 to help you find our spot in the convention center.
There is an elevator and escalator to the third floor located at the eastern end of foyer that runs parallel to J Street. There are doors into the foyer area all along J Street – the doors closest to the elevator and escalator are the doors closest to 14th Street.
Once on the third floor, our registration table, morning refreshments, and meeting rooms are to the right as you reach the top of the escalator or come out of the elevator. Restrooms are on the same floor.
We have reserved a block of guest rooms at the Sheraton Grand for participants at the 2014 LTSS Summit. The Sheraton Grand is next door to the Convention for easy access to the Summit.
Sacramento International Airport Information
The Sacramento International Airport ( SMF), situated 12 miles northwest of Sacramento, is a 15-minute freeway drive from the Sacramento Convention Center Complex. Service is available from 14 major carriers and one commuter airline. Open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, SMF has recently added seven new air carriers (Aloha, Mexicana, Frontier, Hawaiian, Jet Blue, ExpressJet, and Air Canada) to its roster. Other airports in the greater Sacramento area include the Sacramento Executive Airport, a general aviation airport, as well as Mather Field.
There are several different places to park in Downtown Sacramento near the Convention Center if you plan on driving in. Here are some of the best spots to choose from, starting with the closest.
Look for the yellow stars on the map below for nearby parking spots.
