The trustees of the American Craft Council cordially invite you to attend the biennial awards celebration honoring the recipients of this year’s American Craft Council Awards.
The American Craft Council Awards recognize individuals and organizations for significant contributions to the field of contemporary American craft.
Awards bestowed include the title of Fellow to artists and individuals nominated and elected by their peers, the Aileen Osborn Webb Award for Philanthropy in recognition of exceptional contributions to and support of the field, the Award of Distinction in recognition of an organization, institution, corporation, or individual with over a minimum of 25 years of service, and the Gold Medal for Consummate Craftsmanship, the highest recognition given by the Council, for outstanding artistry while honoring the humanistic and philosophical values exemplified in the career of a previously elected Fellow.
Tribute gifts are an easy way to celebrate and recognize the honorees. If you would like to make a donation in honor of one of the new ACC Awards recipients, please contact Elissa Chaffee at firstname.lastname@example.org or 612-206-3125. Proceeds from tribute gifts will be used to support ACC awards programs and further the documentation of contemporary craft in America by the ACC Library and Archive.
