As part of National Volunteer Week, HandsOn Suburban Chicago and the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program ( RSVP) are hosting the 2013 Volunteer Recognition & Impact Award Breakfast. We will celebrate those individuals who go above and beyond and make a postiive impact in their communities.
Nominations will be made by area nonprofits for volunteers who have exhibited excellence in service and giving their time and dedication to our communities. Six recipients will receive awards, selected by a panel of representatives from the community, but all nominees will be recognized. Nominees and representatives from the nominating organizations are invited to attend .
Numerous area businesses have contributed to sponsorship of this event including Baxter, Altria, CNCS and more.
Join us for breakfast, award recognition and an improvisational comedy performance.
This is a by invitation only event as there is limited space at the venue.
There is a parking garage with entrance on Vail Avenue or on Highland between Sigwalt and Campbell. There is free parking on Level 1 (BLUE) and fee parking ($1.50 per day) on Level 5 ( yellow)
