2013 Summer Wine Classic
Our 3rd annual Summer Wine Classic is a wine tasting and fundraising event held at Balistreri Vineyards on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 6 to 9 pm to benefit Stride. This year’s theme is “A Tour of Italy”. The event includes a silent and live auction, music, and a short program highlighting the work of Stride including families served by the program. Program families will speak about their path from poverty and instability to economic independence and self-sufficiency.
Balistreri Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery dedicated to making fine-quality wine. John Balistreri’s wines are made completely natural, with a very approachable, easy-drinking style. He combines both traditional wine-making methods and modern technology to produce award winning wines- handcrafted, one barrel at a time, with grapes that are fermented on their own yeast, unaltered by sulfites, unfiltered, unfined and aged in American oak.
The wine tasting will feature 11 different Balistreri wines and a complimentary full glass of wine Heavy appetizers, wine spritzer, beer and non-alcoholic drinks will be served. Business casual and cocktail dress are encouraged.
Support families moving from poverty to economic independence and self-sufficiency!
Tickets are $45.00 per person in advance or $55.00 at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
