2013 Sprout Film Festival
Friday, November 1, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
The Arc Davidson County and The Arc Williamson County present the Sprout Film Festival, an innovative film event.
People with disabilities are often marginalized in mainstream media. By promoting and celebrating work by and about people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the Sprout Film Festival helps to "make the invisible visible" - celebrating differences, promoting acceptance, and providing a platform for films of artistry and intellect.
Attendees will enjoy wine, hors d'ouevres, a silent auction, and a screening of remarkable short films by and about people with disabilities.
We hope you will join us for this exciting event!
The Arc is a family and community-based organization that promotes, supports, and advocates for the right of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live productive and self-determined lives in inclusive communities. The Arc Davidson County and The Arc Williamson County are affiliates of The Arc of the United States, the nation's largest membership disability advocacy organization. Achieve with us!
