At Thomas Point Beach, Brunswick

The 2013 Saltwater Celtic Music Festival, will be held at Thomas Point Beach in Brunswick. The  festival will occur on Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21, 2013. Gates open at 1:00 pm on Saturday and 11:00 am on Sunday. The Saltwater Celtic Music Festival features an array of international performers including Enter the Haggis, Young Dubliners, The Screaming Orphans, Maeve Gilchrist, The Paul McKenna Band and more.

Buy advance tickets to the festival through the MMM website and a portion of your purchase goes to the Museum.  It’s a great way to support the Museum and enjoy fantastic music. Visit www.saltwaterfest.com for a full listing of performers or for more information.


Camping is available at the festival site by reservation: Thomas Point Beach and Campground

The Festival Booth will feature Saltwater related merchandise, lost and found, festival information, paramedic and first-aid kit. Many artists will be available for meet and greet following their performance, next to the Festival Booth.

Numerous and superior food and beverage vendors will be serving throughout the day and Thomas Point Beach offers a beautiful playground for children and a sand beach.

We ask you to help us keep Thomas Point Beach beautiful by being respectful of the park and others, and by not littering. Thomas Point Beach has a "Carry-In, Carry-Out" policy.

Note: Saltwater is Rain or Shine and Tickets are Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable. Performance roster and schedule are subject to change.

  • Lawn chair or blanket!
  • Umbrella - Saltwater is a rain or shine event with limited coverage in the event of a shower

DO NOT BRING

  • Coolers
  • Glass
  • Pets
  • Liquor, Beer or Drugs
  • Firearms, Explosives or Fireworks
  • Skateboards, Roller Skates, Scooters
  • Canopies or Beach Umbrellas (unless you are willing to set it up at the extreme rear of the audience area)

Maine Maritime Museum
