Krista Ledbetter (@krittabug) comes from a newspaper reporting background. Several years, tweets, and a career shift later, she keeps busy as the Social Media Account Executive at Kennedy Communications, where she's the "voice" and strategist behind client social media accounts, both locally and internationally. You're most likely to find her on Twitter, running around Madison, or on the couch -- hers or otherwise.
Tom Buchheim (@tombuchheim) leads social media content strategy for American Family Insurance and manages its Twitter, Facebook and blog communities. He also advises AmFam executives on social media best practices. Tom is one of the first bloggers to cover the intersection of sports and social media. FourthAnd140.com gives readers a strategic view of how players, teams and leagues – professional and amateur – use social media to connect with today's sports fans.
Jessica Underwood (@junderwood) has been working with social media and online advertising in a social and business sense for over eight years. Jessica was voted Madison's Favorite Twitterer by Isthmus readers from 2010-11. Over the years, Jessica has worked for tech start-ups and advertising agencies, lending her social media and online advertising knowledge to her clients. She also trained advertising executives at TV stations and local businesses across the country on using new and emerging online advertising to complement their traditional advertising strategies. Jessica now works at NBC15 in Madison and is excited to bring her online and social media advertising knowledge to her clients.
Ron Giordan (@rongiordan) is the Social Media/Public Relations Strategy Director for Mid-West Digital Marketing. He and his team work with large and small businesses across the country to produce engaging content for social platforms as well as client websites. Mid-West Digital Marketing focuses on SEO, SEM and Social as well as website development. Ron and his wife are the co-founders of Gio's Garden, a respite home for special needs children in Middeleton.
Megan Cabalka (@mcabalka) joined Neckerman Insurance Services in 2009 after graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism and Health and Sports Studies. Originally aspiring to be a sports broadcaster, Megan jumped into the insurance industry part-time as she searched for a job in TV. The part-time gig at Neckerman turned into a full-time position as their Social Media Specialist. In 2012, she became Marketing Director, responsible for all aspects of their marketing department. In January 2014, Megan was promoted to the Operations and Marketing Manager at Neckerman Insurance.
Megan is an active part of the Madison-area community. She sits on Middleton Chamber of Commerce event planning committees, HospiceCare Inc’s Annual Golf Outing committee and has been attending Madison Social Media Breakfast since 2010. She is a die-hard Iowa Hawkeye football fan, but transforms into a Badger during basketball season. Megan is also an avid runner and hopes to complete a half marathon in every state.
Collin Kromke (@collinkromke) is a Social Media Administrator in the Digital Marketing department at American Family Insurance, where he has worked for twenty three years. His passion for marketing and networking through social media channels started when he was a corporate trainer, helping students, instructors and subject matter experts stay connected to one another outside the classroom. Now he is responsible for helping American Family's national network of 3,500 agents utilize social media to grow their businesses.
Amanda Kreighbaum (@findingamanda) is the Marketing Director at the Jeff Havens Company where she manages public relations, social media, and content marketing while promoting the company motto: “Improving your business doesn’t have to be boring!”
Before teaming up with keynote speaker Jeff Havens, Amanda graduated with a degree in Marketing from James Madison University in Virginia in 2008 and was promptly whisked away to the magical land of Wisconsin to be an Oscar Mayer spokesperson. She blogged and tweeted about her travels with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile and recognized the value of social media in furthering marketing goals. When her hot dog highway days were over, Amanda joined the marketing team at Wisconsinmade.com and began developing integrated marketing strategies resulting in impressive growth of Wisconsinmade.com’s social media networks. Amanda is a regular at Social Media Breakfast where she has shown an uncanny ability to win prizes, and she serves as the Communications Committee Chair for Ad2Madison.
