Event Details

Welcome to "Nature's Harmony Tour" for Season 7 at the Big Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater. Get in harmony with nature and some of the best classic rock tribute music in SOCAL!  Your ticket and concession dollars will continue to support restoration on the San Bernardino National Forest ~ the busiest national forest in the nation ~ and our urban forests in Southern California's Inland Empire. Together, we can bring balance and harmony in nature through music for future generations to enjoy!

Your ticket includes entrance to our July show on Saturday, June 29, 2013, featuring the classic harmony sounds of 70's and 80's classic rock music by the best tribute band to Journey, DSB!  We'll open the show to a "Journey" across the late 70's and the 80's with The British Beat playing the hits of the great British Bands that rocked the era; bring your dancing shoes; you will not be sitting once the British beat goes on!  Please see below for parking and seating information specific to your ticket type.

7:30pm    DSB, World's Favorite Tribute to Journey

Parking and ticket gates will open at 5:00pm; concert begins at 6:00pm.  Please present your printed ticket to volunteer ticket staff; they will scan your ticket to indicate your arrival and provide you a colored wristband by ticket type, general admission or bench seat package; please wear for the entire evening; thanks for your support.  Each ticket ordered must be printed individually from your email confirmation.  Each ticket has its own unique bar code for ease in check in.  Duplicate tickets require ID to match purchaser.  

Note:  All shows will end by 9:30pm.

General Admission Guests 

Seating for general admission guests will be in the open areas only.  Please bring your own chairs and get ready to enjoy the evening.  Chairs will be available for rent at $5 while quantities last.  Bench seating will not be available to general admission guests. 

FREE parking will be available at Meadows Edge with Free Shuttle: FREE parking will be available in the Meadows Edge trailhead parking lot; located ¼ mile west of the Discovery Center entrance; signage will direct you to Meadows Edge; a FREE shuttle will run from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.  

Handicap parking will be available to general admission guests at the Discovery Center on a first-come basis with a state-approved placard or license plate as available for each event.  Please show your event ticket to volunteer parking staff for access; you will be directed to available parking on a first-come basis.  Handicap parking is FREE for general admission guests as available.  Note:  to guarantee handicap parking, please consider purchasing a single-event bench seating package which includes pre-paid parking.

Bench Seat Package Guests

Your ticket package includes reserved seating in the bench seats and parking at the Discovery Center in lots 1, 2, & 3 on a first-come basis.  Parking gates will open at 5:00pm. A parking pass will be mail to you to present to the volunteer parking staff at the entrance to the Discovlery Center for access.  One parking space is reserved for every 2 adult passes; it is not a 1:1 benefit.  Your parking and seating is reserved for the entire evening; there is no time limit for arrival.  

Bench seat package guests will be presented a colored wristband at the ticket gate; please show your wristband to the volunteer ushers in the bench area.  Please note that seats located in the three rows closest to the stage are upclose to the band and "dance zone"; they represent a preferred location.  Or, bench seats are available on a more elevated level across all three sections.  Please plan to arrive when gates open for the best selection that suits you as seating will be available on a first-come basis. 

Early seat reservations will be available only to members of the Southern California Mountains Foundation; please show your member card to enter Amphitheater from Noon to 3p.m.  Thank you in advance for your support.

Food & Beverages: You may bring your own food to picnic at the Amphitheater; however, no outside beverages (except bottled water) will be allowed; coolers will be checked at the entrance in accordance with ABC license requirements; thank you in advance for your cooperation. We plan to expand our food court area to offer more choices (more detail to follow as we confirm additional vendors). Sandwiches, hot dogs, snacks, sodas, waters, kettle corn and other great snacks and treats will be available for sale. A beer, wine , margarita and speciality drink bar will be open at your service offering a great selection of imports, ales and domestic beers; red, white and blush wines; and regular and strawberry margaritas plus themed drinks specific to each concert. 

Money Matters: Please bring cash to purchase tickets at the gate and concession sales. Thanks so much for your support.

Misc:  December 2012 we launched a new brand for clearer and expanded identity of our 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to "Southern California Mountains Foundation" (formerly San Bernardino National Forest Association).

Your ticket and concession dollars will continue to support restoration on the San Bernardino National Forest.  We focus on the heavily-used, high-damaged areas year-round utilizing underserved youth from our mountain and surrounding urban communities through community service initiatives to help them succeed in creating green career choices and pursue secondary education while creating healthier public lands in harmony. We also recruit adults and families to help restore and protect our natural resources through year-round programming on our mountains trails and community parks. Together, we can bring balance and harmony in nature through music for future generations to enjoy!
