2013 King County Behavioral Health Conference
The conference is now full. You are welcome to come to the conference anyway and sign in at the Waitlist Table on the main floor lobby of the Broadway Performance Hall. Historically we have had a lot of no-shows. While we cannot guarantee you'll get in, your chances are good. Even if all of the seats are full for the keynote - from 9:30 - 11 am, there is more room in the workshop spaces. If you do not get into the keynote, we will not be able to provide you with lunch but there are lots of places to eat very nearby.
King County is pleased to present this conference on recovery and resiliency. The keynote addresses are by international experts in behavioral health recovery. There are 36 workshops and many organizations will have Exhibitor’s tables. Be sure to check them out to learn more about the amazing resources here in King County. This year, we will have a movie room showing videos about recovery from across the country
Our goal is to present each attendee with information that will enhance their own strengths and resiliencies and to create a wellness culture within the King County behavioral health system. The themes of this conference are wellness, skill building, and leadership.
Consumers: people who experience mental health and/or substance use challenges. This includes adults and youth who participate in services as well as parents of children who receive services in King County.
Behavioral Health Workers: people who work in the behavioral health system.
