The San Antonio Area Foundation invites nonprofits seeking grants in Arts & Culture, Animal Services, Community & Human Services and Medicine & Healthcare to learn more about our process through upcoming Grant Information Meetings and Trainings. We will guide nonprofit organizations through our Community Grant application process.

You will also hear from Susan Steves Thompson, our Vice President of Nonprofit Support Services who will provide guidance and training on developing well-written, high-quality proposals, particularly for the common grant application.

The Area Foundation makes grants from funds established by individuals, families, businesses or other entities to support charitable causes in our community. The Area Foundation manages nearly $280 million in assets and has distributed more than $240 million for scholarships and grants to educate youth, preserve the environment, protect animals, fund research and provide services that enhance the quality of life for people living in and around San Antonio.
