2013 FotoWeekDC Portfolio Reviews - Iris Brosch
Photographers of all levels will have the opportunity to meet for 20 minutes with one or more reviewers on Sunday, Nov. 3rd between 10:00am - 5:00pm. FotoWeekDC portfolio reviews provide both professional and amateur photographers with the opportunity to have their work reviewed by a distinguished lineup of professionals. These reviews are a great opportunity to meet one on one with experienced photo professionals from various fields to review your best work.
The artist, photographer and director Iris Brosch, lives between New York and Paris. Her photographic style has been described as "Miuccia Prada meets Leonardo da Vinci". Brosch's unique celebration of female sensuality moves in fresh directions through her ability to rework timeless classicism with a thoroughly modern twist. She likes to shoot groups giving a poetic touch with an exquisite set and a young fresh casting.
"I think that a photographer's technical ability is important, but the vision is more important."
Her fashion and portrait photographs have been published in Italian Vogue German Marie Claire and many other magazines. She has also photographed advertising campaigns for Hugo Boss, Pantene, Tommy Hilfiger, Maybelline, Virgin Records, Campari, Renault and many others.
FotoDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit; our mission is to provide exposure for photographers and to make diverse, high-quality photography accessible to audiences through the exhibition of inspiring and provocative images, dynamic programming, and collaborations with the local and international community.
