2013 Brushy Fork Annual Institute
Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10:00 AM - Friday, September 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM (EDT)
The Brushy Fork Annual Institute is a three-day training event featuring hands-on workshop tracks and informative plenary sessions presented by nationally-known experts. Our event brings together citizen leaders from across Appalachia to work and learn together and to participate in creating a more prosperous future for our Appalachian communities.
The Institute features informative plenary sessions, hands-on workshop tracks and focused networking opportunities. Participants enroll in one track session, which provides 14 hours of intensive training focused on a specific skill set or interest. In addition to acquiring hands-on skills, participants join other inspired leaders who are making a positive difference across Appalachia, expanding their network of contacts and gathering resources for putting ideas to action.
