Rick Green is a Huntington Beach, CA native who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.  After working as a clerk in several large law firms in Los Angeles, he joined the inaugural class at Chapman University School of Law.

After law school and the bar exam, Rick worked at the Law Offices of John C. Nelson in Newport Beach. He advanced quickly and was moved to the firm’s immigration practice. Rick’s practice focused on business and family based immigration, naturalization, and removal defense.

Rick later accepted a position as General Counsel at The Boston Group, an information technology consulting company in Massachusetts, where his in-house practice revolved around immigration and general civil litigation.

In July 2001, Rick became a solo practitioner handling a wide variety of immigration and nationality matters.  In 2010 he moved his practice back to Huntington Beach. After returning to California, Rick joined the Chapman University Fowler School of Law Alumni Advisory Board representing the Class of 1998.

Rick is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of California, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the First and Ninth Circuit.  Rick is married to the former Laura Lea Connelly and has one daughter named Joanna.
