How does one create order amidst the chaos of a brand new program? How can three veteran teachers combine rooms and responsibilities to teach 54 children in grades 1 through 3? In this course participants will learn about processes, planning, and problem-solving that can be used to transform your classroom into a multiage next generation learning community. Topics will include the value and benefits of multiage classes, organizing the classroom setting, creating a sense of community, using data and learner’s profiles for personalized learning, managing flexible groups, setting goals, and co-teaching and sharing responsibility.
