Registration for the Teen Volume Conference 2012 is now closed.

The only session for this professional enrichment day for which walk-ins will be accepted (as tickets are available, and on a first-come, first-serve basis), is for the afternoon keynote         address from 1-2 p.m. with Markus Zusak, author of the fall 2012 One Book, One Chicago selection, The Book Thief.

Walk-in ticketing and standby lines for the afternoon keynote address with Markus Zusak will begin at 12 noon.

This year's Teen Volume Conference is an enrichment day designed to bring together professionals who serve teens in Chicago (from librarians and teachers in public libraries and schools to educators in after-school settings and cultural institutions). The event is free and open to the public, and pre-registration is mandatory for each session. Conference guests have the option to pre-register for and attend only part of the day or the entire day, based on ticket availability. (Each component of the conference requires pre-registration, and tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis through October 15 at 9 a.m.)
