Have you ever had a problem or situation that you weren’t sure how to resolve? Did you ever wish there were a way you could feel more in control than out of control when these events occur? If you said, yes to either one or both of these questions, then first congratulations for admitting that life presents us with challenges and secondly, there is a way to develop more control. This program “Taking Control of the Outcome” provides methods for addressing a variety of issues that directors encounter as there organizations grow and responsibilities change. This highly engaging presentation allows participants to examine how to further develop their skills and the skills of those in their staff so that the organization can grow successfully. Learning how to take control of our outcome requires an understanding about how to command ourselves as leaders so that we can direct those who we lead. Clarifying our goals and gaining buy-in increases our success. Increasing self-confidence in how to address various situations helps participants anchor their learning with previous skills, knowledge, and experiences. Diverse examples and activities are used to assist all members of the audience understanding of how to apply these techniques to every aspect of their life.
