The 2012 Forum is an interactive combination of keynotes, practical panels and workshops addressing key issues and opportunities including mobile, privacy, security, identity and brand protection. As new solutions and services have emerged, user trust and online confidence is proving to be the defining factor impacting the vitality of the digital economy.

Speakers will review and critique best practices providing attendees prescriptive and actionable advice, demonstrating a commitment to self-regulation. Learn how privacy and security can and should be part of your trusted brand promise. The Forum brings together an international audience of business, industry and government leaders, executives and practitioners. Forum attendees share, learn and collaborate on how to create an alignment between consumer security and privacy concerns while reinforcing their brand value.

Attendees and speaker smay be photographed and / or videotaped and posted on the OTA site.


Hotel Reservations:

The 2012 Online Trust Forum is being hosted at the Sainte Claire Hotel one of California's genuine grand hotels - a stately hotel with majestic, plush interiors situated in the heart of downtown San Jose.

Rates - The OTA block is sold out on some nights, but rooms are still available.  Contact the hotel at 408-295-2000 for availability.

How do OTA members obtain member pricing?

Members save $100 using the member discount code. Contact Liz Shambaugh at lizs@otalliance.org  for your code.  Member pricing is NOT applicable for onsite o.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, limited to paid registrations and employees of the same organization.  Company photo ID and email address are required. 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Not required, but suggested to expedite registration.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be provided with a $75 fee if requested by September 14.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Photo ID is required.  Must be 21 to attend the welcome reception and Casino party. 

What are the parking options?

Valet parking is available for $26 per day.  Limited street parking is available.  If you are driving to the Forum we ask to you drink responsibly.  If you need a ride contact event staff to arrange alternative transportation.

What is the policy for Press?  Will press be in attendance? 

Accredited press may register and attend at no-charge all sessions unless posted. Contact staff@otalliance.org for your no-charge code. Photo ID required. Personal bloggers, PR agencies and PR staff do not qualify.  Press may NOT attend Thursday Academy or workshops.
