2012 Midd Summer Festival

The 2nd Annual Midd Summer Festival is a celebration of Vermont beer, wine, cider and cheese that will be held on Saturday, August 4th from 3 -7 pm on the Marbleworks lawn. The festival will be family friendly and the afternoon’s festivities will be highlighted by great food, wonderful beer and wine, and Vermont based music. The festival is organized by the Better Middlebury Partnership which is well-known for putting on successful community events such as the Vermont Winter Carnival & Chili Contest. Perhaps the most important aspect of this event is that all proceeds will go to three great non-profit organizations!
The event will feature over 40 state-wide breweries, vineyards, and cheese makers to provide the festival attendee with a true showcase of the great products produced in this State.
Attendees over the age of 21* can purchase tickets for $20 and will receive a commemorative glass and 10 tasting tokens to purchase 3 oz samples of beer and 1 oz samples of wine. Attendees under the age of 21 and designated drivers can purchase tickets for $5 and children under the age of 6 are free.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: All attendees over the age of 21 need to bring identification to receive a bracelet regardless of age*

For over thirty years the Better Middlebury Partnership (BMP) has been an integral part of the Middlebury, Vermont community. The BMP is a civic organization that is dedicated to making the greater Middlebury community a better place to live, work, and play. The BMP is the principal advocate for a sustainable, vibrant Middlebury community - a respected voice, supporting, representing and meeting the diverse needs of the Town, Middlebury College, local businesses, and citizens. The BMP achieves its mission by hosting community events, coordinating with state and local governments, and taking the lead on issues of concern for local businesses and citizens.
