Digital Expo 2012 is showcase of digital projects by Miami University faculty and students and by classroom teachers from local schools.
In multisessions of workshops, presentations, creative performances, and digital displays, presenters will share their work and engage attendees in discussions of what it means to teach, learn, compose, create, research, and communicate in a digital age.
Types of work and technologies to be shared include audio essays, digital performance pieces, multimodal composing, digital design, community/corporate partnerships, bookworks, digital storytelling, classroom pedagogies, digital archiving, gaming, and interactive media.
The expo kicks off at 5pm in McGuffey 322 with open remarks by Carine Feyten, Dean of the School of Education, Health, and Society, and keynote presentation by Cynthia Selfe from The Ohio State University.
