Help the Power Association ring in the new year as we honor YAKOUT MANSOUR, of the California ISO for his 2009 achievements in the California power industry!

As President & CEO of the California Independent System Operator, Mr. Mansour has been instrumental in completing and inaugurating the operation of the MRTU (Market Re-Design and Technology Update) for the CAISO. 

Yakout Mansour brings over 30 years of power system experience to his position managing California’s open-access high-voltage power grid.  His groundbreaking developments in electric power system dynamics have made him recognized internationally and he holds related patents in both the United States and Canada. Please join the Power Association of Northern California in honoring Yakout Mansour.

Power Association of Northern California

The Power Association of Northern California is a non-profit trade organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of the power industry in California and all of its component parts. PANC sponsors monthly luncheon meetings and educational seminars to help professionals better understand the challenges confronting the power industry. Monthly luncheon meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in San Francisco. Guest speakers include legislators, CEO's, Commissioners and other experts from both the regulated and unregulated side of the industry.
