The 2009 Madison Food & Wine Show will take place October 23-25 at the Alliant Energy Center. In its 8th year, the Madison Food & Wine Show is bringing back some Show favorites and adding exclusive new opportunities for attendees and vendors.
The event highlights gourmet food and wine from over 150 Wisconsin vendors, making the Madison Food & Wine Show the perfect place to shop for holiday gifts, discover ideas for home entertaining and purchase a variety of exclusive wines at the wine cellar.
Starting Friday, seven great Madison chefs will start cooking in order to win the coveted title of 2009 Culinary Conqueror. The Dueling Chefs competition takes place over the three days of the Madison Food & Wine Show. Each day the competition heats up as the seven chefs are narrowed down to one remaining Culinary Conqueror.
Madison culinary experts share their talents and demonstrate recipes for attendees in the demonstration kitchens. All attendees sample a variety of gourmet food and wine. Throughout the weekend exclusive seminars will be offered to enhance the experience and knowledge of a variety of gourmet food and wines.
