The region’s leading civil rights experts, practitioners and law enforcement officials will discuss § 1983 litigation, including basic concepts, strategies, defenses and developing law. (Approved for 11.5 MCLE Credits)

 

Keynote speakers:

  • Erwin Chemerinsky
    Dean of the University of California, Irvine School of Law
  • Michael Gennaco
    Member of the Office of Independent Review for the County of Los Angeles and a former Chief of the Civil Rights Section for the Office of the U.S. Attorney
  • The Honorable Stephen Larson
     Former U.S. District Court Judge and Partner at Arent Fox, LLP
