Since 2010, the number of homeless families with children in Dallas County has increased 36 percent. Families with children now constitute approximately 54 percent of people who become homeless. On any given night in North Texas more than 1,200 children will fall asleep in homeless and domestic violence shelters. Of these, 67 percent are under the age of nine and 29 percent are infants and toddlers under the age of three.

In 2014, we served 46,750 children across Dallas and Fort Worth, distributing more than 944,731 critically needed items valued at over $2.5 million dollars. Of these items, we distributed 13,485 diapers and training pants each week for infants and toddlers.
