Event Details
Orlando, FL – Come and enjoy the Orlando Wetlands Festival on Saturday, February 20, 2016, from 9am-3pm at Fort Christmas Park. The Orlando Wetlands Festival is an opportunity to celebrate the Orlando Wetlands Park, the City’s 1,650 acre wetland oasis. The event is sponsored by: City of Orlando, Orange Audubon Society, and Orange County Parks and Recreation.

Festival Events Include:
- Guided bird-watching excursions
- Native plant identification hikes
- Wilderness hikes
- Guided photo hikes led by professional nature and wildlife photographers.
- Guided bus tours and Hay Rides around the wetland berms
- Bird-banding and mist-netting demonstrations
- Live music
- Wildlife shows featuring alligators, snakes, birds and many others.
- Interactive children’s activities
- Out-On-A-Limb kids tree climbing
- Bounce houses
- Free door prize giveaways

Also, the City’s Families, Parks and Recreation Department will be giving away FREE backyard trees in celebration of Arbor Day.
Admission, parking and all guides/tours are FREE. So bring the whole family and invite your friends and neighbors to this fun, free educational festival. Bring your cameras, and prepare for an adventure in the wilderness. Please leave your pets at home, there will be plenty of animals to see at the festival (the park does not allow pets). Food will be available for purchase. All hikes and tours are first come first serve.
You do not need to print your tickets. You can use your smart phone so we can scan the tickets or a volunteer will look up your name.
