Event Details

The Vedanta Society of New York is happy to announce a SPECIAL CELEBRATION on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on May 17th, 18th and 19th, 2013 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

The Vedanta Society of New York was founded by Swami Vivekananda in 1894, a historic event, for the seed of the world-wide Ramakrishna Movement was sown here in New York over a century ago. Swami was also the first monk who brought the concept of yoga, Vedanta and eastern principles to the West.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT. ALL ARE WELCOME. LUNCH AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED WITH RSVP. PLEASE RSVP (Register to Attend) ON THIS PAGE.
