HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Emory Conference Center Hotel ( http://www.emoryconferencecenter.com/) at a room rate of $149 plus tax per night. Note that this rate is for a room that can be used as single, double, or triple occupancy by Conference participants. There is no charge for parking at the Conference Center Hotel. The garage is underneath the hotel. To reserve a room, call the hotel reservations department at 1-800-93-EMORY (1-800-933-6679) or 404-712-6565 and identify yourself as a participant of the SERVC 2014 meeting under Reservation ID 20006024333.After April 4, 2014 the hotel may not be able to honor the special conference room rate.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: The registration fee is $175 if your registration is received by 11:59 PM (EST) on Friday, April 4, 2014. The late registration fee for meeting participants will be $200 after April 4, 2014, as well as for on-site registration. Registration includes: Friday evening wine/beer reception, Saturday and Sunday continental breakfast, all refreshment breaks, Saturday box lunch, Saturday wine/beer reception and dinner, the scientific sessions, and all program and conference materials. The fee for a non-participating guest who wishes to attend only the receptions and meals is $125 ($150 after April 4, 2014). Group members must register individually and select "check" as payment. Please include a list of attendees in the envelope when mailing a group check as payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY: To cancel your registration, please request a refund by emailing Tracy Crayton at firstname.lastname@example.org. All cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received on or before April 18, 2014 will receive a full refund less the $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after April 18. However, substitutions of participants may be made, but information about such substitutions must be sent to Tracy Crayton (see below) prior to the meeting. Stop payment of a check does not constitute a formal cancellation. There will be an additional returned check fee of $15 or 5% of the dollar amount of the check, whichever is greater for stop payments or returned checks.
ABSTRACTS: Abstracts are invited on all aspects of Virology. Presentations will be grouped by subject matter into individual workshop sessions with each session containing about eight 10-minute oral presentations followed by 5-minutes for questions. The abstracts of this meeting will not be published. Program/abstract books will be provided to meeting registrants upon check in at the registration desk. Abstracts should be submitted by email to Dr. John Williams at email@example.com by April 4, 2014. Please put “SERVC Abstract” as the subject line of the email and send your abstract as an attachment. Please do not send an abstract as an email enclosure or in the body of your email.
ABSTRACT FORMAT: Abstracts should list the name of the presenting author as the first author, contain only text, and conform to the following format:

I.M. AUTHOR and U.R. AUTHOR
Professional affiliations and Brief (institution, city and state) addresses.
Text of the abstract: Limited to 250 words.
Font size: 12
All presentations will be oral. The keynote talk will be 45-minutes in length followed by 5-minutes for questions. Plenary talks will be 25-minutes plus a 5-minute question period. Workshop session talks will be 10-minutes followed by 5-minutes for questions. All presentations must be in PowerPoint format and brought to the conference on a CD OR MEMORY STICK. Computers and projectors will be provided. We are unable to accommodate projectors, slides, and personal computers. All presentations must be PC compatible as only PC’s will be available. Your presentation must be loaded onto the session room computer 30-minutes prior to the beginning of the session. Please preview your presentation after it has been loaded to make sure that it is projecting properly.
