Guns and Ladies New Shooter Clinic

September 27, 2014

Register between 10:00 and 10:30 then beginning at 10:30 AM, GALs attendees are introduced to the fundamentals of safe gun handling and coached through their "First Shots" with live ammunition.

Next, attendees will participate in a variety of shooting events using shotguns, pistols and rifles. The clinic ends at 2:30 PM.

NOTE: You may attend the New Shooter Clinic more than once.

All ages and experience levels welcome.

FAQs

Do you charge a fee for this event?

No, there is no charge for this event, firearms, ammunition and safety equipment are provided by funding from Friends of the NRA. Generous volunteers donate many hours organizing and instructing at each clinic. Donations are welcomed and encouraged, since there are additional expenses that are not covered by current funding. You may donate at the event or contact womenshooting@gmail.com if you have questions. THANK YOU!


Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Minors must be accompanied by and have written permission from a parent or legal guardian.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

There is plenty of free parking near the main gate to the range. Please do not block any of the gates, even if they are closed, leading into or out of the parking area.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

A detailed list of things to bring will be sent via email before the event, but please DO NOT bring your own firearms or ammunition to the event. Hats, water, snacks and sunscreen are encouraged.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. You will not need to bring your ticket to the event. But, you should register using the first name the way you would like it displayed on the required name badge. Yes, it's required for safety reasons.
