Description

Stepfamily Life: Using God's Principles

Blending two families together can be challenging, especially during summer breaks and the holidays! Yet, with healthy expectations and effective resources, stepfamilies can build their own traditions and create cohesiveness that nurtures these relationships.

Almost 70% of remarriages with children end in divorce within the first 24 months. In this series, we will teach you how to prioritize your relationships in a godly way, dig in for the long haul and offer you practical tools to strengthen your family’s communication and help you find purpose in misunderstandings that arise in the world of a stepfamily. We're here to help you beat the statistics! Step-parents, engaged, dating, or single parents are welcome to any or all classes.

Check out the following classes, all being held in ROOM 404 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.:

Setting Reasonable Expectations (Part 1) – July 24
Setting Reasonable Expectations (Part 2) – July 31
Using God’s Principles – August 7
Navigating Family Dynamics – August 14
