A fateful day in 1941 finds renowned atomic physicists Werner Heisenberg and Niels Bohr meeting to discuss ... no one knows for sure what, in this Tony-winning play. Written by Michael Frayn (Noises Off, Democracy), Copenhagen is based on real-life events that may have had major implications for the course of the war and the history of the human race itself. This acclaimed drama brings out all of the tension and uncertainty, humanity and philosophy surrounding this storied, wartime meeting between the man who tried to equip the Nazis with an atomic weapon and the man who helped the U.S. succeed in realizing the technology.
