Description:

Many boards are built socially instead of strategically. Yet, inability to bring a diversity of opinions, a much-needed skill set, a wider network of friends, or a broader access to funds is often what holds many nonprofits from reaching their ultimate potential. A professionally recruited board can be an organization's biggest champion, bench, and friend. This webinar will teach you how to apply the tried-and-true methods of executive search to your next nonprofit board member search.

Takeaways:

  • Learn to assess your current board.
  • Examine the redundancies and holes that exist on your current board.
  • Understand how to match organizational needs with board recruitment goals.
  • Hear how executive recruiters search for board members and how you can use these methods to develop your own board.

Part of the NonprofitWebinars.com Wednesday Webinar series for nonprofit staff and board development. Offering strategy, planning, organizational development, branding, marketing, executive search, finance, fundraising, operations, and more.
