Campus Tour Program:
Your visit will begin with an hour and a half long campus tour starting at 10:00 AM followed by a 30 minute information session. The information session is led by a member of our admissions staff and is designed to address the application process, financial aid, and highlight various aspects about life at USD.
We do not limit the size of our tours. We will be able to accommodate all registered visitors on days that we are open, and have tour guides available when classes are in session. We look forward to seeing you!
When filling out the reservation form, please only provide the student’s information. For our purposes the Ticket Buyer is the student, regardless of who is entering the information. Thank you!
Visitors to our campus will need a parking permit Monday through Friday. A parking permit must be obtained from the kiosk officer at the entrance of USD (you must be in the left-hand lane to access the kiosk officer). Your parking permit is only valid in white-lined spaces in the West Structure or levels 3-5 of the Main Structure. Your permit is not valid in spaces marked for employees(yellow), reserved, residential, or disabled spaces(unless authorized). **Note this permit is only valid in the Main or West Parking Structure - parking outside of this assigned area will result in a citation. This is the most abundant parking resource we have on campus and there is a free tram stop conveniently located at the base of the West Parking Structure. Please be sure to read the front and back of the guest/visitor permit upon receiving it. After parking, you may either walk or catch the USD Tram at one of the many stops throughout campus. If you park in the West Structure, there is a tram stop located conveniently at the bottom (ground floor) of the South entrance. Please take this tram to the Colachis Plaza exit and Serra Hall will be the 2nd building ahead on the right.
