10 Steps to Launching Your Business Blog

Small business owners are invited to attend “10 Steps to Launching Your Business Blog,” June 20, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Keene Chamber of Commerce conference room. The workshop is offered by the Social Media School of New Hampshire, a program of Halvorson New Media. Cost is $35.
Participants will learn what it takes to get a business blog up and running. The workshop will be hands-on and students are encouraged to bring their laptops or iPads. Instructor Christine Halvorson will review the leading blogging platforms such as WordPress, Blogger and Typepad, as well as review all the reasons a business should consider adding a blog to its marketing mix.
Topics also include design considerations, customizing domains, equipment needs, content development, controlling comments, and steps toward launching and publicizing. Attendees will learn tricks and tips on maximizing time and minimizing headaches.
Registration is required and space is limited. Payment is at the door by cash, check or credit card, or online at the link below. Chamber membership is not required. Space is limited.
