This workshop will focus on the mistakes that startups make in their marketing and especially in their selling. Due to the nature of startup funding pitches, startups are very comfortable hearing the phrase "maybe" from VCs and potential investors. In sales, "YES" and "NO" are great, but "MAYBE" is the kiss of death. In this workshop we'll learn 3 big things that have an immediate effect on your startup's sales and marketing wins.

  • The three things that are causing your startup to have sales meetings that do not results in wins
  • Which 50% of the sales meetings you should not even be having and how to avoid having them
  • Exactly where your startup's meager marketing budget ($50k-100k) should be spent in 2013
