Rotary Overview
The Rotary Foundation recognizes Six Areas of Focus for Rotary Clubs which reflect the service interests and activities of Rotary clubs worldwide: Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, and Economic and Community Development.

Brookline, Massachusetts has a very active Rotary Club, and we are considered leaders within our community. Our club's focus for 2015-16 is on projects that benefit young people in Brookline and to assist with literacy projects in Brookline and Boston.  We are also helping to fund a school for girls in Afghanistan, rebuild a school in Nepal, build a dental clinic in Honduras, and have also participated in water projects to bring clean water to villages in third world countries.
