Roslynn Brain
Roslynn Brain McCann is an Associate Professor in Sustainable Communities at Utah State University (USU). She uses conservation theory, communication techniques, and social marketing tools to foster environmental behaviors with a focus on waste reduction and local food movements. Roslynn developed and launched Extension Sustainability (http://extensionsustainability.usu.edu), a set of tools and information for the general public to engage in sustainable behaviors. She also teaches Communicating Sustainability at USU, coordinates a statewide initiative connecting famers to chefs called Utah Farm-Chef-Fork and the USU Permaculture Initiative, is on the planning team for Moab's Bee Inspired Gardens, helps facilitate Sustainable You! 4-H camps, and is the chair of the National Network for Sustainable Living Education.
