Mission and Goals of the Organization

The mission of Beary Couture Ovarian Cancer Awareness Foundation (BCOCAF) is to provide global awareness of the predominate signs of Ovarian Cancer. BCOCAF is dedicated to the goal of providing a relaxing and comfortable Support House for patients to stay while receiving treatment, or traveling out of town to receive treatments of this “Silent Killer.”


Early detection gives the best chance of a positive outcome. The BCOCAF provides awareness of the signs of Ovarian Cancer through public services, Media exposure, announcements, brochures, announcements, educational symposiums, picnics, walks, rides, and future support houses. Funding for our mission and goals are through donations, grants, and events.



The BCOCAF was founded b Cynthia Kennedy. Cynthia Kennedy had a background in design and organizational businesses. This complimented the process and management of building long-term relationships with people and other businesses. Cynthia was diagnosed with 4th stage Ovarian Cancer in 2011, and although she passed away in 2012, she leaves a legacy to save lives.


The Co-founder and CEO is Ronda Butman. Ronda carries with her a Bachelors’ Degree in Health Care Administration. Ronda is dedicated to helping those who are in need of medical and financial guidance when affected by this “Silent Killer.” Ronda Has a personal interest in making sure the signs of Ovarian Cancer are delivered to as many people as possible. Cynthia was Ronda’s cousin.



Ovarian Cancer awareness and a comfortable and relaxing home-like environment during treatments are critical steps in the battle against Ovarian Cancer (Silent Killer). BCOCAF will rely on the compassion of donors, grants, and events to achieve these goals. While any woman is at risk, every person wants her family, friends, and acquaintances to be empowered through the education. Please join BCOCAF in the fight against Ovarian Cancer.
