The DePaul Center for Art, Museum, & Cultural Heritage Law was founded by Patty Gerstenblith, distinguished reserach professor of law, to promote research and concentrated study in the rapidly growing areas of art, museum and cultural heritage law. The Center offers studentsmany opportunities to explore these exciting areas of law through a two-course sequencethat includes Art & the Law and a seminar in cultural heritage law, supplemented by internship and externship opportunities including placements at the Field Museum of Natural History, the Chicago History Museum, Sotheby's, and government agencies.
