National Action Network
National Action Network (NAN) is one of the leading civil rights organizations in the nation with chapters across the country. NAN works extensively to promote a modern civil rights agenda, which includes one standard of decency for all people regardless of race or sex, social justice for all communities, and improvement of race relations.
National Action Network’s 2015 Annual National Convention will take place in New York City from April 8-11th. The four-day event, which honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will consist of a series of plenary sessions, panels, and special events. The 2015 National Convention will be held at the Sheraton New York Towers and Hotel, 811 Seventh Avenue at 53rd Street, New York, NY and will address major issues including jobs, voting rights, policing policy, education, health care and social justice. Last year, we held the largest convening of a civil rights organization with nearly 6,000 people in attendance.
