Sculpture at the River Market

Sculpture at the River Market (SATRM) is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization which is funded primarily through private donations and the proceeds from its annual Sculpture At The River Market Show & Sale.

This $2 million+ collection of over 80 works of public art is placed in beautiful surroundings along the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock, Arkansas. A majority of the sculpture is installed in the premiere Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden, which is made possible through the support of the Vogel Schwartz Foundation.

The sculpture garden features natural terraces and walkways designed by City of Little Rock’s Leland Couch and Mark Webre. The design creates a more intimate space to view smaller works within Riverfront Park and is ideal for hosting receptions, as well as allowing visitors to enjoy the sculptures in solitude. This dynamic sculpture garden is located north of the Little Rock Marriott Hotel and east toward the River Market.

Sculpture At The River Market will present its 9th annual Show & Sale on April 22-24, 2016. The Preview Party, a ticketed event held Friday, April 22 at 6:30 pm.  Hundreds of sculptures, from internationally recognized artists chosen for the 2016 Show and Sale, will be displayed and sold in a party setting in the River Market Pavilions. This exquisite evening, featuring food, libations, live entertainment and more, allows party guests the first opportunity to meet and visit with the artists while viewing and purchasing works.

Additionally all patrons at the Preview Party will vote for their favorite proposal from the semi-finalists works for the $60,000.00 - $80,000 Public Art Commission Competition (funded by Sculpture at the River Market).  The 2016 Sculpture Commission will be placed on the grounds of Central High School.
