Hacker Dojo is a vibrant community of entrepreneurial individuals focused on the future of technology. For over 2 years Hacker Dojo has been a strong community and a great place to throw hackathons, conferences, classes, movie nights, and job fairs. These events (legally termed their "permission to assemble") are essential to the spirit of the Dojo.
In the past, the City of Mountain View had been more permissive of occupancy limits in buildings; however, due to fire code and Mountain View zoning regulations, the Dojo's ability to hold large events is currently capped at 49 attendees.
blackbox wants to help the Dojo so that they can renovate the building and invite everybody back to assemble again. They're expecting renovations to cost well over $250,000, and are very grateful for the community's support.
Half of the ticket fee will go directly to Hacker Dojo, the other half will be spent on catering the fundraiser.
Please share this event with your friends and others who might be willing to help safe Hacker Dojo.
Thank you so much and see you soon at blackbox mansion!
