The mission of the Hawai'i Chinese Tourism Association is to provide an organization that brings together related Hawai'i travel industry professionals and business leaders who are interested in promoting travel from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to Hawai'i.
The Hawai'i Chinese Tourism Association seeks to create a harmonious relationship between Chinese travel agents, wholesalers, hotels, airlines, activities and retailers servicing visitors to Hawai'i. It represents those in the industry with a network of relationships with other associations, the State of Hawai'i Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT), the Hawai'i Tourism Authority (HTA) and the City and County of Honolulu, to build a bridge between China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to Hawai'i.
The Hawai'i Chinese Tourism Association organizes series of speakers, trade shows and trade missions to better prepare Hawai'i’s travel industry for the increasing Chinese market.
