About Global Coral Reef Alliance:
The Global Coral Reef Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to growing, protecting and managing the most threatened of all marine ecosystems—coral reefs. Founded in 1990, GCRA is a coalition of volunteer scientists, divers, environmentalists and other individuals and organizations, committed to coral reef preservation. HELP PPFISCH (pron. "help fish"), acronym for "Help, Protect, Propagate, and Farm Island Sea Cucumbers Holothurians" is a U.S. based nonprofit organization whose goal is to develop sustainable sea cucumber farming throughout the pacific outer islands. This will be done by working collaboratively with business, civil society, and government to design and develop integrative solutions for implementation to leverage the various aquaculture resources for eliminating poverty, sustain the natural environment and society, promote economic development and designate the Pacific Island Nations an active and prominent participant in the global community.
