Massachusetts Education Partnership
The MEP is the first partnership of its kind in the United States and brings together the American Federation of Teachers Massachusetts, The Massachusetts Teachers Association, Massachusetts Association of School Committees, Massachussets Association of School Superintendants, and four leading research centers in the state - the Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management at the University of Massachusetts Boston; the MIT Institute for Work and Employment Research, Northeastern University's Dukakis Center for Urban & Regional Policy; Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy,
The partnership seeks to leverage in-depth knowledge of both research and practice to develop methods and tools that school districts in Massachusetts can use to facilitate path-breaking reforms in K-12 education.
This conference and the work of the MEP is made possible through generous support provided by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the NEA Foundation.
