Via Michelin | GoogleVee Smith and Melanie Knight founded AskTheOfficeWiz, a “friend at the end of a telephone line” who can talk you through how to use the tools and shortcuts in the MS Office suite of products. They have brought together a team who have extensively used the Microsoft suite of products and are experts in explaining over the phone, in plain English, how to use the tools, features and short-cuts, to other computer users, saving them hours of frustration and time.
Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are a universally used software product and anyone not from a programming background often complain that the on-line help files are far from helpful. Even companies with IT departments who can fix and set up computers, often can’t answer questions about many of the advanced features in MS Office, as they haven’t used them. And so, AskTheOfficeWiz was born.
Vee Smith: currently runs My Super VA, a virtual assistance business, having spent over 20 years as a PA assisting senior management in the corporate sector as well as small businesses. Driven by a desire to make things easier, she helps streamline processes leaving business owners more time to be creative.
Melanie Knight: runs Inspiring Technology Solutions, a website and database development business that also provides bespoke I.T. training and support. Passionate that simple, straightforward, plain English explanations of how, why, where and when, lead to smiley, calm, contented computer users.
