A Bit About HOPE

HOPE is a not for profit organization established in Gainesville, Florida in 2000. HOPE enriches the lives of individuals with disabilities by utilizing equine-assisted therapies, such as hippotherapy and therapeutic riding. Equine-assisted therapies help participants experience improvements in posture, balance, mobility, flexibility, self esteem, motor control, sensory processing, socialization skills, and communication skills.

To provide a safe and enjoyable environment where individuals with special needs benefit from developmental, therapeutic, and educational equine-oriented activities.

To improve the individual's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills through equine assisted therapy.

To build a cooperative link within the community through educational opportunities.
