ABOUT NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY

The New York Film Academy is an accredited college of the arts with year-round locations in New York City, Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi, and Australia. We offer Master and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees, one- and two-year certificate programs, short-term workshops, and summer programs for teens. The college offers courses in filmmaking, acting, animation, photography, producing, screenwriting, musical theater, and more.

ABOUT CANON EXPLORERS OF LIGHT

The Explorers of Light concept came out of Canon USA in the mid 1990s as a broad-ranging initiative for photographic education and inspiration. Today, the group is comprised of more than 60 of the most influential photographers and cinematographers in the world, each a master of the their creative specialty.

The Explorers share their photographic passions and technical expertise with eager audiences of photo professionals, hobbyists, and enthusiasts in a variety of personal appearances, seminars, and gallery showings through the United States.

MOPLA was established and exists to advance the celebration of photography through a variety of events and programs designed to inspire and invigorate the photography professional, enthusiast, emerging professional and collector.

MOPLA's two-fold mission is to advance dynamic programming designed to engage and stimulate the photography community, as well as to present a comprehensive resource of exhibitions and events in April.
