the scientific study, exploration, 
and public understanding of Mars.

The Mars Institute is based in 
Vancouver, Canada and at the
NASA Ames Research Park in
Mountain View, California. 

We have several ongoing 
projects including the 
Haughton-Mars Project where at
our HMP Research Station in the 
high Arctic we perform science
and space exploration research
for our return to the moon and
onward to Mars.
